Summer Opening Times & Kids Go Free

Kerry County Museum is open seven days a week from 9.30am until 5.30pm throughout June, July and August. On bank holiday weekends we are open 9.30am to 5.30pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday and Monday. Please note that we recommend at allow at least one hour for your visit and that our last admission is 60 minutes prior to closing time. With free admission for children visiting with their parents or grandparents and plenty of hands-on activities for all the family, we look forward welcoming you at Kerry County Museum this summer. 15 June: Free Entry and Medieval Living History

Visit the Museum free of charge all day on Saturday 15 June as part of Feile na mBlath – The Park Festival Tralee & Cruinniu na nÓg. Members of local living history group Tralee Medieval Society are going to populate the Geraldine Experience recreating a day in the life of a medieval town. This ties in with medieval battle-reenactments and lots of family fun events happening in Tralee Town Park. All events are free, no booking required. Kerry Writer in Residence Annemarie Ni Churreain is offering a creative journalling session for children aged 6-11 on Saturday 15 from 11am-12.30pm as part of Cruinniu na nÓg.
